Rosa is a donkey. She is looking for Filo. Filo comes from Iran and works on the farm where Rosa lives. But he is not there anymore. Filo has already set off with the wind and other people and animals. He is exploring the route to Siba. In Siba, people sing to the moon and dance to the sun. Actually, Rosa should follow. But she can think of many reasons not to do it for now. But then she does, she learns about rivers and strange creatures, crosses borders, and finally meets Filo again.

Rosa ist eine Eselin. Sie sucht Filo. Filo kommt aus dem Iran und arbeitet auf dem Bauernhof, auf welchem auch Rosa lebt.
Aber er ist nicht mehr da. Filo ist schon losgelaufen mit dem Wind und anderen Menschen und Tieren. Er erkundet die Route nach Siba. In Siba singen die Menschen zum Mond und tanzen zur Sonne. Eigentlich sollte Rosa nachkommen. Aber ihr fallen viele Gründe ein, es erst einmal nicht zu tun.
Aber dann geht sie doch, lernt Flüsse und seltsame Wesen kennen, überwindet Grenzen und trifft endlich Filo wieder.
